Update from Biff
Here we are travelling from Stuttgart to Switzerland through the ice and snow (it must be the first day of spring) the E4 show was called “Get your act together” the inside story so the Harvey show must be called “Get your act together” the main show goes out the 10th of April on channel 4 at 9 of clock the E4 show follows this. HOW DO WE DO IT: Left lichtenfeld on the Tour bus straight after the show, drove to Brussels, had a shower, caught the Euro star to London, did the show, left at 9 o’clock in the evening, drove to gent in a mini Bus, got back on the Tour bus, drove to Stuttgart (great Show)
The E4 Show was good fun, people were giving Harvey some grief, the show ran over time, a lot of people missed their trains, but that happens on TV all the time, we missed our Euro star Return, that’s why we ended on the Mini Bus. It was nice to see so many friends there, our good mates Quireboys and Hawkwind were there swell. There was a young band “Chokehold” playing on the show, who played one of their own songs and a version of 20.000ft, which I sang with them. Some guy was giving Harvey some grief why spend money on an older band and not feature a younger band (Good Point), so I said we’ll put Chokehold on the we’ll tour.
Maybe Channel 4 should make a documentary about them.

Sorry it was such a rush for you guys, (Some day off eh!) thanks for taking the time to talk, pose for photo’s and sign stuff. As always you guys even when you don’t have the time, MAKE the time for the fans. It is VERY VERY much appreciated.
Coincidentally I had an E-mail from Lawrence from Chokehold - mate they are so chuffed ! There aren’t many people in the industry who would do what you did Biff, (particularly that guy you mentioned in the blog) I hope it makes the final cut on the E4 show. That gesture shows what Saxon are about more than any documentary ever could !

Biff & the lads, I’m gutted that I missed out on the chance to have a quick spiel with you but I had to scoot due to the overrun. Hope to catch up with you on the rescheduled UK leg of the tour for a chat…………
Great move as far as Chokehold are concerned Biff, from what I hear they’re totally made up & at the same time you spiked that other guy’s guns good & proper!!
Keep up the great work (The Inner Sanctum’s a belter!)

We enjoy your music in such difficult times for heavy metal.

1981-83-86-89 four shows in Naples….at the least Rome is the closest to Napoli we’ll meet you overthere….

Just ordered Inner Sanctum finally getting round to it after finishing my latest shift last night - heard the tasters on the SPV website and I have to say it is tasty!

Excuse me to write you so late, but I had some problems to connect me on your blog.
My first Saxon’s concert it was in 1982. AfterI had luck to be able to attend full of Saxon other concerts. Hey then, but the March 21 in Pratteln in Switzerland, that was the love at first sight. Since all these years, all your concerts were excellent and I find that the maturity of age makes you again more exceptional, polite, jovial on stage. Yes, I must say that this evening it was usually even more excellent !!!!Congratulations, and continue to yourselves have pleasure on stage and give to your public everything that you have in your heart. It is indeed brilliant !!!!!!

after all these years , it was lovely to see you at the astoria- even though it was only for a few seconds. Would have loved to stay for gigbut my friend had to get home so thats why I travelled up to Nottingham the day after but stilled missed you- still it gave me chance to see dad in Cudworth for a few days. the concert was fantastic and it brought back a lot of old memories. I wish I could have had a good chinwag with you though -ur still damn handsome to me (not nearly good looking!). where on the website can I send 4 ur book. xx
