Nigels Music Corner: “FURYON”
Formed out of the ashes of ‘Pride’, this Worthing/Brighton based band, on first listening, sound like a cross between King’s X and The Black Label Society - no bad thing there!! - but you make up your own mind!
I’ve known cousins Simon and Lee Farmery for years and watched their progress in various local bands - they’re a superb, tight rhythm section and Chris Green, the guitarist plays some quite brilliant guitar behind the powerful vocals of Matt Mitchell.
They’ve been gigging around the UK and have released an EP called ‘32 Hours’ - go and check out their site and grab a copy of the cd!!!!

Jeez nigel, they are really really good but iv’e never heard of them or seen any posters in worthing.
Do they ever play at the half brick ( i see they are doing a gig at the concord 2 in brighton) or have they outgrown pubs already.
You have a rare ear for talent nigel.
On a different matter, i was playing my old eighties memories the other day & i played THE ASSOCIATES song PARTY FEARS TWO & I didn’t realise you were in on that although i remember the Toyah wilcox days.
My god Glockmiester you couldn’t get much further away from heavy metal.
