Hi its me at last with the next review this time its Pick of Destiny, Jack Black and Kyle Gass I am a fan of Tenacious D, and Jack’s film career has been great obviously School of rock is monumental in rock comedy. Pick of Destiny is also good i loved some of the lyrics and one liners.

Kyle looks great with a wig, i also should add that i watched it with a hangover and feeling slightly apart from reality, it happens quite a lot on tour and is not a bad state of mind for this sort of film. The young Jack is fantastic Dio comes out of a poster and sends him to Hollywood to form a band where he meets Kyle busking and the version of Bach they do is very funny and truly inspired Black at his best.

They get together but all is not as it seems i dont want to give to much away but Kyle has to train Jack in the art of rocking it has some great moments but i began to feel it was missing something it was good but not making me laugh as much as i thought it would, until Jack eats some mushrooms and meets sasquatch this had me rolling.

Anyhow they go in search of the pick which is in the museum of rock and roll history and they have to steal it. In all i enjoyed the movie but i did find for me something was missing but cant rely say what you judge 7/10.

PS could be one of those films that gets better the more you watch it, keep banging your head bye for now.
