We have been working on the Heavy Metal Thunder album this week and we’ve decided to include a short film of download 2008. We feel this was such an important event in our recent career that it has to be included.This means the release to those of you who have pre ordered it there will be a delay for a while. After all it’s all about quality not quantity. After seeing all of the DVD last night I think you will love it, so don’t blame Coolhead. It’s my fault wanting to give you the best documentary that we possibly can.

On another matter we have just finished rehearsing for the tour and we will be playing Requiem We Will Remember in memory of our good friend Mick Cox guitarist for Rose Tattoo who went on to the other side recently.

Unfortunately we will not be playing a saint gorges day concert this year.
Every one feels we have played a lot in the uk two tours last year and they were amazingly successful, there may be some festival shows in the uk but we have no info on these yet.
We are doing festivals across Europe in summer, south America is a possibility and maybe some shows in north America we should know soon.

The riffking champion will be announced in the next couple of days

Band news
We are starting writing songs for the next album next week also mixing all the live recordings heavy metal thunder the movie,wacken 2004,2007,2009 and Sheffield also listening to old recordings and mixing them.we are hoping to be playing some festivals around the world next year, we were thinking to maybe play all the tracks of wheels of steel (and or strong arm) as a special it is the 30th anniversary of those albums and the nwobhm although we don’t want to live on past glories we cannot ignore the influence this period of British rock had around the globe what do you think should we do this or not.

sorry for all the problems with changing the dates, on another note since spv went bankrupt the riff king contest has been a bit quiet so we have taken over now and we have chosen 5 finalists I will name the winner on my blog before the uk tour.
