Driving through Lincolnshire on a sunny morning as the sun casts a long shadow across the majestic cabbage trees, one is struck how flat the fens are. An old farmer once told me you don’t have a view here its an outlook, never the less it was a nice morning as we pulled in to the market place in downtown spalding.

Just a few more words from the road, sat in berlin having a few wines with doug, thomas and ulf (herman the german). Tour is going fantastic. Off to eastern europe tomorrow. Just a bit more juicy news, as you know we have just shot the first ever Heavy metal 3D video of “Battalions of Steel”, it is also our 30th anniversary this year, so SPV is going to release “747” as a commenrative single, included in the package will be the video of “Battalions” and the 3D glasses.

Hi, just a few words

Tour is going great the package seams to be working, good to welcome Doro on the UK/Ireland dates.

I found a rare cassette tape last year in the bags of stuff we saved from the house fire, our first US headline tour in a big concert hall in Norman Oklahoma, we arrived at the gig to find a mobile outside.

They said Journey were playing the next two days and could they record us to set up the gear, we could have the tapes after, but unfortunately they must be lost, this is the mix that was given to me after the show on cassette.

The fist track will be available for free download on our MySpace Site Planet Saxon on tonight.

Here´s a bit of News, the album is in the billboard charts in the US, fantastic. Just finished production rehearsals, starting in Paris on Sunday, hope the show is ok and not affected by the troubles. Even more news, just shot a new video for “Battalions of Steel” and last but not least, we have a song on a big video game, coming out soon, can´t say anymore it´s a hush, hush. Hi Everybody out there,

A short blog to let you know what´s going on. I hope you all had a great christmas and a fantastic new years eve party and did get too drunk.

The band did their first show in 2009 for Rock Radio Glasgow, i witnessed a storming set. The new album is out now, hope you like it, we´re getting fantastic reviews. So we´re getting ready to rock and all the tour preproduction starts now.

Thanks to everybody how did send video´s for the riffking competition, we really enjoy watching them and there is some serious stuff on there, don´t miss it. There will be Prizes for best solo, funniest video, most different and the most talentet. Believe me there are some great things in the pipeline. Hope to see you on tour.
